Our core competencies of building, interior remodeling, pre-engineered, and industrial and specialized concrete complement each other to enable Raimondo Construction to keep firm control of a project’s workmanship, cost, and schedule.
At the turn of the 20th Century, Italian stone masons were recruited to Greensburg to build the Westmoreland County Court House. One of these stonemasons was Tessi Raimondo. After the work on the courthouse was complete, Tessi stayed in Greensburg, raised his family, and started his own construction business.
In the following years, Tessi taught his sons the skills required of craftsmanship in the trades of masonry and concrete finishing. In 1947, Raimondo Brothers was formed, and in 1963, Albert Raimondo started Raimondo Construction Company.
In 1977, David Raimondo assumed the title of President of Raimondo Construction Company, Inc. Under his leadership, Raimondo Construction has evolved from concrete contractors to general contractors emphasizing on a wide array of building and industrial projects.
David graduated cum laude in 1974 from Villanova University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. Upon graduation, he worked for two years at Stone & Webster Corporation with projects at nuclear power plants in the New England area. In 1976, he joined his father at Raimondo Construction and became President of the corporation in 1977.

Mike graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration. After working in business development for a small internet company after graduation, he decided to join the family business as the fourth generation of Raimondo to be involved in the company. He oversees all business operations as well as estimates and project management.

Jim received his Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Dayton in 1989. After spending 15 years in the banking industry, he changed careers to commercial construction. For the last 13 years, he has estimated projects for both government and private entities. He is responsible for quantity take-offs and pricing, solicitation, and review of subcontractor quotes and preparing final bids while also managing projects he wins through to their completion.

Kevin is is an experienced professional with over 35 years in the industry, specializing in project management, estimating, and hands-on craftsmanship. Previously owning his own business, Kevin oversaw hiring, payroll, and project estimates, while also performing installations including drywall, framing, and acoustical ceilings. Prior to that, he was employed as a Construction Estimator and Project Manager for several contractors, managing budgets, purchasing, and on-site project supervision. His expertise spans from planning to completion, ensuring cost efficiency and safety on every job. Kevin oversees estimating all our self-performed projects from labor/material take-offs to completion.

Kim graduated from The Pennsylvania State University earning an Associates of Science in Business Administration in 1994. Her duties include payroll (including certified payroll), tax filings, preparation of financial statements, and all accounts payable and accounts receivable related work. She is the contact for all financial matters regarding the corporation and all current and past projects.

Mark is a second generation Raimondo Construction employee. He is very strong in project layout and managing a job site crew due to his many years of experience. He is highly skilled in concrete forming and interpreting all structural details on a project.
Bob Henkel, Carpenter Superintendent

Bob was self-employed until 1994 and worked for several different contractors until becoming a steady part of Raimondo Construction. He is a highly skilled craftsman with superior layout and managing abilities. He is particularly skilled at subcontractor coordination on projects.

John started with Raimondo Construction through the Carpenters Apprenticeship program in 2017. After becoming a Journeyman in 2019, he continued to assume more responsibility on jobs and is now our lead Foreman for our self-performed carpentry work as well as serving as on-site Superintendent on several jobs per year. John is extremely detail oriented ensuring that the smallest details and notes on drawings are accounted for. He is also extremely proficient at navigating projects on compressed schedules to ensure timely completion.
